Post Trade and Technical
Careers Australia offers a range of post-trade diploma programs which have all been designed to take your trades career to the next level. These courses have all been developed in close consultation with industry to ensure that our graduates walk away with all of the skills and knowledge they need to hit the ground running and succeed in the real world.
Who can enrol in these courses and how will they help me?
Anyone can enrol in the Diploma of Building and Construction, however qualified tradespeople will obviously have a few advantages because they already have a thorough understanding of the industry. The diploma covers all of the skills that are required to effectively plan and manage a construction site or project including; desing and drafting, budgeting, project management, inventory management, human resources and legislation. This course also allows you to apply for your Builders License in most states, so you can formally manage construction sites and projects and become your own boss!
Most of our other post trade programs have been designed specifically for qualified tradespeople. These courses introduce tradies to advanced tools and techniques such as measurement, management and advanced welding techniques for engineers, or renewable energy technology and systems for electricians.
