Job Seeker Programs
Careers Australia runs regular pre-employment and pre-apprenticeship programs across a broad range of industries and job roles. These programs are ideal for job seekers and generally combine a few weeks of classroom based learning activities with a couple weeks of supported on-the-job workplace training and experience.When you graduate from one of our job seeker programs you will be leaving with a bunch of industry relevant skills, real work experience and a nationally recognised qualification, opening new doors for your future.
If you are looking to get into an apprenticeship then one of our short pre-apprenticeship programs can give a taste of the industry you are thinking about working in – and all without making a blind comitment to your chosen trade and your chosen employer for the next 3-4 years!
These programs are usually fully funded by Government Departments, Industry Bodies or Industry Associations for eligible participants. We regularly start new programs, so please Give us a Call if you can’t find what you are looking for – we might have something starting soon!
